About our Club...
A "New Generation" Club, Madison South is the second largest Rotary club in the Greater Madison Area with over 85 members. Averaging 10 to 12 new members a year, a very active majority are in their 30's and 40's. With almost 40 years behind us, we have developed a balanced membership that relies on the senior members to remind us of tradition, lessons learned and the newer members to guide us into the future as the Club grows in size and maturity.
What we do...
At Madison South, meetings are more than a speaker and business. We also have fun! The well known "dollars" fines for publicity plus happy and sad dollars with a raffle makes this one of the top make-up clubs in the 15 club Greater Madison area. The food at the Sheraton is top-rated too
Madison South is known for its unique and very successful fund raising project. Our bratwurst and beer stand across from UW's Camp Randall Stadium packs in the fans before every Wisconsin Badger Home Football Game. For over 30 years this project has contributed to our Foundation almost a quarter of a million dollars. This enables the Foundation to give back over $50,000 a year to South Madison, its citizens and worthy causes.
